Personal Hotspot for iPhone is Missing

I use Personal Hotspot a lot on my iPhone 3GS because my iPad 2 does not has GSM/CDMA connection features. It just has Wifi connection only.

So when I want to connect to the Internet but there is no Wifi network available, I will turn on my Personal Hotspot on iPhone and connect my iPad to the hotspot via Bluetooth.

But then, suddenly my Personal Hotspot option (shown above) was missing from the Settings menu. Supposedly the option is available under Wi-Fi option but it was not there. Reboot the iPhone also not successful. So, what’s next?

Remove Quick Bar from Twitter for iPhone 3.3 with Twizzler

Twizzler removes Quick Bar from Twitter for iPhone

Twitter has released its new Twitter for iPhone version 3.3 a few days ago. This version comes with a Quick Bar to show the trending topics on the timeline.

But the Quick Bar is really annoying because it will keep following you on the timeline even though when you scroll up or down the screen.

Luckily, there is a tweak called Twizzler from chpwn that will remove the Quick Bar from Twitter for iPhone. This tweak is available under the Big Boss repo and it is absolutely free!

However, you need to jailbreak your iPhone to install Twizzler. But don’t worry, I have made a step by step guide on how to jailbreak your iPhone iOS 4.2.1 with GreenPoison RC5 if your iPhone is not jailbroken.

Playable Angry Birds Birthday Cake

Mike Cooper designed and baked a playable Angry Birds birthday cake for his 6-years old son. He also shares the tutorial on how to bake your own playable Angry Birds cake on his blog.

Personally, I don’t think I will bake a cake like this for my children even though they like playing Angry Birds. What do you think?

I am very happy today because I have just finished upgrading and jailbreaking my iPhone 3GS to iOS 4.2.1. And I am writing this article because I want to share with you on on how to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 with GreenPoison.

Before we can start, make sure you have all the tools that we need:

Hello guys… Welcome to iPhone Switcher. My name is Fauzi Mohd Darus and I am a new iPhone user just like you (most probably). Bought my iPhone on 20th January 2010 and decided to open up this blog as my personal iPhone journal. Every applications, themes, and tips that I think interesting and useful will be kept in here for future reference.

Before I decided to buy iPhone 3GS, I was in dilemma whether want to get iPhone 3GS or Nokia N97. Both have their own pros and cons. Although both phones have are touch screen but based on my experience iPhone’s screen is more sensitive than Nokia N97. In fact, there are many applications made available for iPhone than Nokia and most of them are free!

I am happy with the choice I have made and not regret at all. If you are in dilemma which touch screen phone that you want to get, I personally recommend you to get iPhone.
